Scarlett Sieber is SVP of Global Business Development under the New Digital Business team. In this role, Scarlett leverages BBVA’s assets (including Simple, BBVA API Market, etc) to secure the right partnerships and opportunities within the ecosystem. She also represents BBVA in many of the public facing roles including but not limited to speaking roles, mentorship in national accelerators, and judging startup competitions. Scarlett is also the US lead for BBVA’s millennial initiative. In her previous role, Scarlett was SVP of Open Innovation and Ecosystem Building where she implemented the innovation global strategy and vision within the US and led the North American region for BBVA’s global fintech competition, Open Talent. Prior to BBVA, she was COO and co-founder of data visualization tech startup, Infomous, whose clients include The London Olympics, Super Bowl XLVII, and NFL Films on the events side and The Economist, Entertainment Weekly, The Guardian and USA TODAY on the publisher side. Outside of work, she is a contributor to the Huffington PostForbes, and WeWork. She is a NYC Fellow of Startup Leadership Program.

Scarlett is 1 of the 500 Global Youth Ambassadors for A World at School that, in collaboration with the Office of the UN Special Envoy for Global Education, is a global movement of young leaders working to get every child access to education by the end of 2015. She is also an Ambassador for One Young World.
